Artwork Description

SLAUGHTERHOUSE, made of metal and enamel, establishes a close dialogue with the cultural environment that inspires it. Its aesthetic proposal arises from popular creativity and social marginality, transcending academic limits to reflect the collective experience around the consumption of animal meat. The work evokes not only sacrifice and commercialization, but also the symbolic imaginaries that surround it: breeding, ritual, religiosity and gastronomy, becoming a mirror of shared practices and memories.
