A massive cut trunk is pierced by a metallic element, which has a video screen installed at one of its ends, where we see a cold succession of pages from the Bogotá telephone directory. These are the simple and direct materials of the work 'Survivors.' Both the image and the arrangement of the materials affirm—succinctly and without ornamentation—a stance toward death and violence.
