Artwork Description
Ave de los Andes is a sculpture that evokes the silhouette of the condor, a symbol of greatness and balance in the Andean mountain range. Made with recycled plastic hose and water, the work alludes to the traditional irrigation systems of the Colombian countryside. The condor, an endangered species, appears here as an emblem of resistance and environmental preservation. The piece invites reflection on the relationship between nature, cultural memory and survival.
